What we liked (and where they could improve)

First off, the strengths: the modular design is great, and believe it or not, the panels actually stay put when you install them correctly. Plus, you get broad voice support with Alexa, Google, and Apple Home on most regional models. A lot of recent Yeelight stuff has Matter support, too, which really helps with local control and simpler setups. Just be sure to confirm that for the exact model you're buying. Now for the shortcomings. Like most wall panels, the brightness is at an accent level; it's not going to replace a room light. And the music-reactive modes? They rely on a mic, which means there's a tiny delay. The included adhesives are very secure, but they're not really reusable, so plan your layout *before* you peel the backing. And if you're a serious PC gamer, Aurora’s desktop sync is good, but it still lags behind the more aggressive, gaming-focused brands.
