We loved how refreshingly simple it is. There's no pairing, no Wi-Fi password, no account to create. You just clip it onto a snug diaper, and that's it—you're good to go. The way it escalates is smart, too. First a gentle vibration, then a loud alarm only if needed. And because it's just a little wearable, you don't have to worry about positioning a camera or having wireless signals right by the crib. It's tiny, so throwing it in a diaper bag is easy. Believe it or not, in a world where everything seems to have a subscription, this is a one-time purchase that just does its one job really well.

Now, it’s not perfect. You can get false alarms if the diaper is too loose or if your baby wiggles it out of place—something that can happen with thick cloth diapers, too. And while the lack of an app is great for simplicity, it also means you won't get an alert if you're in another part of the house. It's also super important to remember: this isn't a medical device. It can't prevent or diagnose SIDS, and it can actually add a lot of stress if that's what you're expecting.
